The Automotive Appearance Institute helps to better the auto appearance reconditioning and repair industries through both online and in-person training classes. The Automotive Appearance Institute assists subject matter experts in producing, promoting, and hosting their courses. Our team helps brands with video and photography production. 

Currently, we have courses for Glue Pull Repair geared towards both auto body and paintless dent repair (PDR) technicians.  We also have a course on automotive reconditioning business ownership and operations (See Shop Owner Round Table)

Our current instructors are business leaders in the automotive reconditioning industry with over 50 years of combined experience. Our co-founder, Gene Fetty, has been in the industry for his entire adult life and was a Master Trainer for KECO Body Repair Products from 2019-2022. With KECO, he traveled all over the country teaching Glue Pull Repair to body shops, PDR technicians, automotive manufacturers, and spoke at numerous trade shows including SEMA.

All of our courses and talks are meant to teach new skills to both new and experienced technicians.  Whether it’s to learn a new skill, technique, or to enhance current skills, our goal is to fast forward your career.

Typically not on a regular basis or schedule, we do and will be offering in person training and workshops. Make sure you are on our mailing and text messaging list to be the first to know when we have new training opportunities.

We do not have any blockers on our website that would stop you from seeing the courses from anywhere. However, countries or regions that block access to outside websites are out of our control.  Our courses are currently available in English, and we plan on adding Spanish classes to the site soon.

To access or start a course all you need is a computer, tablet, or phone with high speed internet.  As far as tools and equipment go, you don't NEED to have anything to see the courses. In practice, you may want to have at least a rudimentary set of tools or equipment to practice your new skills.

To access your online course(s), simply log into your account and then you’ll see your enrolled courses in your dashboard menu.
